You can watch Semiconductor’s videos on vimeo:
Brilliant Noise: vimeo.com/1284717
Black Rain: vimeo.com/3921306

I took shots from both of these, added color and edited them to the song “Us” by Regina Spektor.

This video features shots of sea smoke on the Trondheimsfjord and a sunset towards the end.

It was shot on a Canon 7D with a 70-300mm lens. And I used the Canon TC-80N3 to time the intervals of the exposures. I used Quicktime 7 (you find it in your “Tools” folder if you’re running Snow Leopard) to export the image sequences as video files (Apple ProRes). Edited in Final Cut Pro. Color corrected in Apple Color.

Made on February 23rd, 2010 in Leksvik, Nord-Trøndelag, Norway – 63.66° North, 10.64° East.

Soundtrack: “That Town” by Sambassadeur
